Andrius Seselskas from Kelmė, has invaded the world of art like a meteor. He graduated Arts and Design at the Faculty of Arts of Šiauliai University. He started active at exhibitions in 2010. He prepared 20 author's exhibitions of graphic art works in various cities of Lithuania, Latvia, and was invited to foreign art galleries. Andrius's illustrations "Vilniaus padavimai" (The legends of Vilnius City) were well evaluated by the International organization IBBY AWARD. The artist works with a pencil without using the eraser completely. Drawing in all types of art it is important, but it is often only an auxiliary role for him. We have artists working in Lithuania only with a pencil, but a few only. Andrius's graphic drawings attracts by peculiarity, perfect pencil handling, and the ability to convey an idea. It is dominated like the real picture of a woman, which comes from reality and dipped in the infinite space of imagination. Surrealist compositions are eloquently highlighted by realistic images codifying the flow of philosophical thoughts. A jewel-delicate drawing, tone modeling of shapes creates a sense of space. A balanced relationship between reality, fantasy and decorum has been found, creating an impression of playfulness and surprise. Pencil is the simplest art tool, the most accessible, but admit, in this case the mastery of the author and his creative abilities do not leave an indifferent viewer.
