Born in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Studies: In 1980 graduated from Vilnius Institute of Art, specialized in painting.
Activity: Painter, assistant dean and associate professor at the faculty of Arts at Šiauliai University. Since 1982 has participated in exhibitions and artistic camps in Lithuania and abroad, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden and the Netherlands. Since 1992 member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association.
Creative works: symbolic portrayal of man in an early stage with surrealistic stylistic elements. Later creative works consist of abstract compositions, inspired by variation of moods in nature.
