Born, grew up and have been living in Klaipėda since 1956. He had two teachers in his childhood: P. Gužas and R. Zdanavičius, who inspired his love for art. Ernestas childhood games became his lifestyle. His painting style is expressive, rich coloration, abstract forms, city and landscape motives.

Ernestas Žvaigždinas is participating in exhibitions since 1981 and had more than one personal exhibition in cities and towns of Lithuania, as well as abroad – Germany, Denmark, Russia, etc. Recent years he had often visited USA, where he had exhibitions in Lithuanian World Center Lemont, Balzek museum and Čiurlionis gallery in Chicago.

The journalists and art critics were following his exhibitions, among them R. Laimienė, I. Žiemytė, R. Bočiulytė, G. Giedraitytė, etc. Ernestas paintings were published in daily newspapers “Vakarų ekspresas”, “Klaipėda”. In US – “Amerikos lietuvis”, “Draugas”, etc. His pictures are in private collections in Australia, USA, Europe and Lithuania.
